Feast of strawberry in Martell in Vinschgau
On 28th and 29th of June Vinschgau and specifically the city of Martell will host an event that wants to be a celebration of the fruit so abundantly produced here: strawberries!
The strawberries will be the protagonists of a weekend!
The mild climate and many days of sunshine a year make this area a place suitable for the cultivation of strawberries and their ripeness.
Here the succulent and delicious red fruits ripen and grow very slowly with a particular and unique aroma.
The party wants to be a thanksgiving to land by farmers for the wonderful fruit of strawberries.
In addition to strawberries, undisputed protagonists during the festival, you can also enjoy the various booths at the many local products and traditional cuisine of South Tyrol.
During the celebrations will also electing the Queen of Strawberries 2008.
The event takes place in a unique setting: those in the mountains of Vinschgau and Martelltal!
