Weeks of asparagus in Terlan
In the South of South Tyrol and in particular in the area of Terlan, Vilpian and Settequerce, the seasons are 5!
The fifth season is the season of asparagus, vegetable growing in these areas and that in the months of April and May is the protagonist of every event and every table!
The Weeks of Asparagus are repeated every year as an important event in Terlan, during this period in all restaurants you can enjoy dishes based on asparagus, of course accompanied by excellent local wines!
How to serve asparagus
They are ideal if served with potatoes, ham and traditional sauce "Bolzanina".
In the area of Terlan are produced the famous asparagus "Margarete" but also two wines that marry well with this fruit of nature: the Terlaner Winkl Doc Sauvignon and Pinot Blanc Weisshaus Praedium.
