Market of bread and strudel in Brixen

From 1st to 3rd October 2010 in Brixen takes place the traditional market of bread and strudel.

Bread in South Tyrol is a real culture! There are a lot of different types: from black bread, wholemeal bread, one with fennel, bread with sunflower seeds or poppy! A whole event still is not enough to taste it all!

There are many lovers of this food, so simple but so rich in flavor, present in all our tables.

During this event you can not only taste South Tyrolean bread, but also Strudel, a typical cake of South Tyrol, including its many variants!

For three days bakers in Brixen  will showcase the various techniques of processing and cooking bread, a journey into the past that will allow us to discover little tricks and secrets to make a good bread!
