Holiday at the home country - South Tyrol

Already 400 years ago the rich citizens from Bozen has done their holiday in Ritten and Kohlern during the midsummer time. And they still do it in face of all the packages offered from the big tourism associations like TUI, Neckerman or LTU.

Holiday habits in the own home country

People are coming from Meran  to the Tauferer Ahrntal for a wellness holiday or in the Dolomites for a trekking tour. Pusterer are travelling in the Eisacktal, they taste the wine and eat roasted chestnuts’ with the family. For Culture freaks the Messner Mountain Museum is obligation und they knows every treasure in South Tyrol, every nice castle, Botanic garden or old church. Young people know the Mc Donalds and shopaholics stroll the 5th avenue from Bozen up and down.

There are many reasons for South Tyrolean to make holiday in their own country, because land, culture and tradition are different and change in deceased areas.
