Tradition and handicraft in Sarntal Valley

In the Sarntal Valley ancient handicraft and tradition are alive as in grandpa’s times. And why? The natives are very tradition-bound and countrified and there is an association called “Sarner Gschick” which conserve ancient handicraft.

The group “Sarner Gschick” is composed by four young artisans, who are engaged to keep alive the typical handicraft in Sarntal Valley. They produce only high quality products and solely so, how their fathers and grandfathers told them: in conformity with nature and tradition.
