In contrast to cities like Bozen, some valleys and villages have maintained the cultural identity during many epochs. There ancient rural costumes and traditions are still alive and in Gröden and Alta Badia even the ancient Rhaeto-Romanic language is still spoken in everyday life. Isn’t this great?
