Country side restaurant Stallwies

The Stallwies farm is the highest situated farm of the Martell Valley and it is 600 years old. Since 300 years the farm is in possession of Stricker family and they know how to spoil gourmets with South Tyrolean specialties which are refined by Italian finesse. We recommend tasting the self made digestives like Swiss stone pine schnapps. You eat in rustically wooden Stuben or on the sunny terrace with a great view on the mountains around. Open all over the year.

Country side restaurant Jägerrast

Covered with shingles, based on ancient wooden beam and all around the marvelous landscape of Pfossental in Schnalstal Valley. That’s how the Jägerrast farm presents itself. The interior is also very original and the farmers, too. They produce cheese, speck, sausages and many other specialities and bake the best confections of pastry in the whole Schnalstal Valley. The cook is farmer Erika: she knows how to spoil gourmets.

A stylish interior, romantic places under 600 years old chestnut trees and a really amazing ambience in the coal-black smoke-kitchen. The Thurnerhof in Schenna is one of the oldest but surely one of the most beautiful of the village and the restaurant is also very rich in pleasure. Alternately you can enjoy here fish-, asparagus-, salad- or herb-weeks and in autumn naturally Törggelen-evenings. The restaurant belongs to the counts of Meran and it is administrated by Mirjam and Bernhard Tammerle.

Country side restaurant Fonteklaus

Fonteklaus is a former castle and it was built in 1700 in Lajen. The Fonteklaus is a very special place for gourmets and refugees. From the panoramic terrace you overlook the lovely Eisacktal Valley and you see 77 churches. Don’t forget to count them over these culinary delicacies: swordfish on tomatoes, Ravioli filled with leek or carpaccio on vegetable and vinaigrette. Worth mentioning is also the rich wine-cellar with precious South Tyrolean wines.

Country side restaurant Lüc de Vanc

Panicia, Tutres, Gnoch da zigher, Cajinic and Crafuns Mori. Pardon? These are all ladin specialities, which farmer Rosalia prepares with mastery and love. Gourmets have to taste the great Melissa-, mint- or elder-juices: the juices are very refreshing! The farm is 300 years old and situated in one of the most beautiful areas of South Tyrol in Gadertal Valley in the Dolomites.
